A Kennedy Grandson Fights to Protect Gay Friend

While I don’t advocate fighting, it does feel just to see our allies take a stand. John Conor Kennedy, who is Robert Kennedy’s grandson and former boyfriend of Taylor Swift, took action in an Aspen bar over New Year’s to protect a gay friend who was being harassed by jackasses in a bar:

From NewNowNext:

The grandson of Robert F. Kennedy was arrested for fighting outside a Colorado nightclub this week, and he says it all started because he was defending his gay friend who had been called a homophobic slur.

22-year-old Conor Kennedy was at Bootsy Bellows in Aspen when the fight broke out after a group of men allegedly refused to apologize for shouting the slur at his friend.
His father, Robert Kennedy Jr., confirmed the story in an interview with the Aspen Times, saying, “Conor has always reacted against bullying. I’m happy he stood up for his friend.”

Thank you, Conor.
