AFA: Concerned that Michael Sam Will See Beefcakes in Shower

VDlehq3

The American Family Association president is upset that Michael Sam will see naked “beefcakes” in the shower:

Earlier this week, former Colts coach Tony Dungy said he wouldn’t have signed Sam, because he “wouldn’t want to deal with all of it”.

AFA president Tim Wildmon has today leapt to Dungy’s defence, claiming he is worried Sam will be able to see “all that beefcake” in the shower.

He wrote: “By the way, having been a sports reporter for a few years I’ve been in many football locker rooms where the players walk around naked or half-naked, changing clothes and going in and out of the showers.

“Putting a man like Sam, who says he is sexually attracted to men, in with all that beefcake seems unfair to the straight players and a distraction to Sam.

“Would you put a heterosexual man in the locker room/showers with all the female cheerleaders?

“The fact that [Tony Dungy] is in the crosshairs of the PC Gestapo over this comment is chilling to free speech and free thinking.”

First, gay men are not predatory hunters in team showers – unless it is a gay porn film.

Second, the right continues to misunderstand free speech – its about preventing the government from stifling speech – not a private employer or person who has to deal with the consequences of their speech.

Third, using the term ‘beefcake’ is so 1970s.

Crazy Eyes: Gays Want Adults To ‘Freely Prey On Little Children Sexually’

Backmann

Like a groundhog, Michele Bachmann stuck here head out of her hole to slam LGBTs (again) before she leaves office at the end of the year. Right Wing Watch shares her foolishness:

During a Wednesday appearance on the conservative radio show “Faith & Liberty,” Rep. Michele Bachmann accused the “gay community” of pushing “deviancy,” “tyranny” and child rape.

The Minnesota Republican warned that the gay community will “abolish age of consent laws, which means we will do away with statutory rape laws so that adults will be able to freely prey on little children sexually. That’s the deviance that we’re seeing embraced in our culture today.”

She also predicted that gay rights advocates will legalize polygamy and enact “hate speech laws across the United States” in order to bring about “the rise of tyranny.”

Now that she is leaving office, it’s a perfect time for her work on her own gay marriage with Ladybird.

If you can stomach her, read more and listen to the audio of the interview here.

Did You Know You Are Possessed By Putrid-Smelling Demons And Are Worse Than Pigs?

BertFerias

Pastor Bert Ferias, in a lengthy and jaw-droppingly vile essay published today by Charisma News, provides his readers with utter nonsense in sharing his views on homosexuality. In his article ‘The Raw, Naked Truth About Homosexuality,’ Ferias is not shy in sharing his demonic theories about LGBTs:

The choice to be gay, however, has far greater risk in that it ties one to lust, illicit passions, and unclean practices that open up a person to the demonic. I will explain this further below.

We’ve got this whole thing muddled up because people don’t speak plainly and clearly anymore. They beat around the bush and are obsessed with political correctness and being loving and tolerant. The truth is that everyone makes choices every single day. You can choose to believe in God or not. You can choose to believe the Bible or not. You can choose to surrender your life to Jesus Christ or not. You can choose to be a liar, a thief, a whore-monger, a murderer, an alcoholic or a drug addict. Quit blaming it on your genes or your addictive personality, unfortunate circumstances, or your background and upbringing. Yes, our culture and surroundings influence us, but we don’t have to yield to its evil influences.

For example, I could say to my wife, “It’s so natural for me to have sex with other women, so I think I will. I just can’t help myself!” Just because a woman opens her blouse to me and entices me to have sex with her doesn’t mean that I will. The fact is some people just want to do what comes naturally or what feels good, and the devil eats them up. He will feed you all the lies and perversion you are willing to receive.

Shakira Performs In Concert In Barcelona

Here’s the raw, naked truth: Homosexuality is actually a demon spirit. It is such a putrid-smelling demon that other demons don’t even like to hang around it. A genuine prophet of God told me that the Lord allowed him to smell this demon spirit, and he got sick to his stomach. And yet as humans, many embrace this demon. Yes, you heard me right: Being gay is demonic.

You heard it here, folks. And the comments are hilarious. From ‘Polish Bear’:

DEAR REVEREND FARIAS:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. (After all, all things in the Bible should be taken and followed as the literal law)

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to follow them.

1: When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbours. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

2: I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3: I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). But how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

4: Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. How do you suggest I obtain slaves from Canada?

5: I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

6: A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?

7: Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

8: Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27. How should they die?

9: I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10: My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev.24:10-16) Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

Obviously you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God’s word is eternal and unchanging.

Go here to add your two cents.

Leave It To Bryan Fischer To Bring Gay Hate Into Malaysian Plane Crash

Bryan Fischer is no stranger to equating every ill of the world to LGBT equality. Now, he decided to comment on Obama’s “politicizing” the Malaysia Flight MH17 crash by politicizing with LGBT hate on his Twitter account.

If he’s so Christian, he should be ashamed of himself

Wing Nuts’ Heads Still Exploding Over ‘Proud’ Whopper

BURGER_KING-PROUD_WHOPPER

What are we – like 2 weeks out from Gay Pride month and the right continues its tirade against Burger King for its Proud Whopper. The rainbow-packaged burger was served in one San Francisco location (Market Street and adjacent to the Pride celebration). But, the right continues to melt down over such a ‘despicable’ act. As you can guess, condemnations are taking place and boycotts are being planned. Here’s a current recap:

Huffington Post: “Bryan Fischer Slams Burger King’s ‘Proud Whopper’ As ‘Nonsense’ And ‘A Bonehead Move’”

Bryan Fischer mentions that “When people sit down to eat a hamburger, the last thing they want to be thinking about is two guys having sex.” Well, it seems to be ALL Fischer thinks about #obsessed.

American Family Association ‘Alert’:

AFA_ActionAlert_-_Burger_King_introduces_gay_pride_Whoppers

Notoriously anti-gay AFA is executing an email campaign to BK’s CEO:

I am offended by Burger King’s stunt in offering a so-called “Proud Whopper” in San Francisco. What were you thinking? Your celebrated promotion of cross-dressers and homosexuality is an insult to families and I find your celebration of abhorrent behavior as a reason to dine elsewhere. I hope you will learn from this publicity blunder and realize that while most stores did not participate in the corporate-approved program, the damage has been done and affects the image of all Burger King outlets.

AFA president Tim Wildmon warns: “Unless there is some pushback from consumers, there is a real possibility that they could expand this promotion.”

Joe.My.God: Tony Perkins Has The Burger King Sadz

“When Burger King says ‘have it your way,’ they aren’t just talking about food. Hello, I’m Tony Perkins with the Family Research Council in Washington. Is it Burger King or Burger Queen? Customers in San Francisco aren’t so sure after the chain’s new Proud Whopper. Local stores unveiled the rainbow menu to coincide with LGBT week. Although nothing’s different about the burger, executives hope the wrapper will make a statement. But even in liberal San Francisco, Time reports, some customers have a beef with the burgers. ‘If that’s what they’re gonna do,’ said one person, ‘they won’t [have] my business anymore.’ That’s the beauty of the free market. If Burger King wants to cater to a fringe group at the expense of other customers, that’s their choice. Just like it’s Cracker Barrel’s decision to support natural marriage and the celebrities who advocate it. The problem is those companies who say they believe in debate and then try to silence it. That’s the biggest whopper of them all.” – KKK-affiliated hate group leader Tony Perkins, speaking on his national radio show.

Come on, people. It was at one Burger King for one day during San Francisco Gay Pride. Of course, the haters never pass on a chance to spread their message and demand money.

Oy.

Bob Vander Plaats

Bob Vander Plaats (right), president of the Iowa-based Religious Right group The Family Leader, held a revival event yesterday that also happened to be a good marketing opportunity for his new book about the “urgent call for revival” in America.

Vander Plaats introduced the event — which also featured a Q & A with Chuck Norris and a performance by the Christian rock band the Newsboys — by showing a video of the “darkness” in America that he identified as calling for a spiritual revival. Featured in the video are images of terrorists attacks and mass shootings….along with images of same-sex weddings, the Boy Scouts’ admittance of gay members, and rallies on behalf of legalizing marijuana.

Oy. This has all the essence of that “storm is coming” film that NOM released years ago.

Gay Porn Actor Too Queer for Kentucky Water Park

10418432_10152480671306136_1996546986128870696_n

SpeedoSocial

Evidently, a water park in Kentucky dislikes Speedos to the extent that they asked a gay porn performer to leave the park:

A gay porn actor has said he was kicked out of a water park, threatened with arrest and called “queer” by a police officer, just for wearing swimming trunks.

Jessie Colter (above) attended the Kentucky Kingdom water park, and said he wore red brief trunks, and that a Public Safety Officer had confirmed he was fine to enter the park as he was.

According to reports, he then said he was approached by a Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) police officer who called him “queer”.

Colter said: “He informed me that several Public Safety Officers from the park had warned, which is 100% false.”
Then ordered to leave or face arrest, Colter decided to vacate the park.

A dress code is mentioned on the Kentucky Kingdom website, and the park reserves the right to determine whether guests are dressed inappropriately.

The dress code reads: “Guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times while at Kentucky Kingdom, except when inside the Hurricane Bay water park. Proper swimming attire is required at Hurricane Bay. For their own safety, guests may not swim in cut-offs or other clothing with rivets, zippers, or buckles. Kentucky Kingdom is a family-friendly theme park and reserves the right to determine whether a guest’s attire is appropriate.”

I am not sure where I stand on this one. I certainly wear different swimwear in my backyard (or wear nothing at all) than I would at a public pool but that’s me. The U.S. is typically hostile to all things Speedo. But, usually derogatory and homophobic language to dismiss the attire is not acceptable.

Would you wear your Speedo to a Kentucky water park? If I looked like Colter, perhaps I would!

It Starts: Religious Right Wants More ‘Robust Exemptions’ To Discriminate

6a00d8341c730253ef01a3fd2ade94970b

I am so sick of the “victim” messaging when the right discusses “religious liberty.”

Via Towleroad:

As mentioned in our coverage of the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision earlier today, religious leaders close to The White House sent a letter to President Obama on Tuesday, petitioning for a “robust religious exemption” to President Obama’s earlier announced executive order that would make it illegal for all federal contractors to discriminate in the workplace on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, The Washington Post reports. This letter comes on the heels of a previouis letter from 140 religious leaders asking for a similar exemption. Importantly, Tuesday’s letter was sent in the immediate wake of the Hobby Lobby decision at the Supreme Court. The letter argues that religiously affiliated organizations should be able to discriminate against LGBT people:

The letter reminds Obama of his own earlier faith-based opposition to same-sex marriage, as well as the government’s massive partnerships with faith-based social service groups that work on issues including housing, disaster relief and hunger. […]

“An executive order that does not include a religious exemption will significantly and substantively hamper the work of some religious organizations that are best equipped to serve in common purpose with the federal government.,” it said. “When the capacity of religious organizations is limited, the common good suffers.” […]

“Without a robust religious exemption .?.?. this expansion of hiring rights will come at an unreasonable cost to the common good, national unity and religious freedom.”

None of the groups mentioned in the letter have explicitly said they would pull out of their partnerships with the White House if they do not get an exemption.

For some reason, I don’t believe that the group will remain content with the SCOTUS Hobby Lobby decision. More details and a copy of the request here.

Watch: John Oliver Takes On Scott Lively, Lively’s Head Explodes

Last_Week_Tonight_with_John_Oliver__Uganda_and_Pepe_Julian_Onziema_Pt__1__HBO__-_YouTube

I love John Oliver‘s new HBO show.

On this past Sunday’s show, Oliver took on American Evangelicals’ influence on anti-gay laws in Uganda – specifically targeting hate monger Scott Lively. Lively, by the way, has a crimes against humanity charge levied against him.

Lively has spent considerable time and energy traveling the world spreading anti-gay propaganda and supporting laws like the recently passed “Kill The Gays” law in Uganda. He, of course, denies that he’s anything but loving and compassionate.

Here’s Oliver’s segment about Lively:

As you can guess, Lively is not happy.

scott-lively

Scott Lively

From his web site:

“Friends, On Sunday night I was attacked on HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ a supposed comedy/news show in the mold of The Daily Show.

The host is a Brit named John Oliver.

I find it funny that lefties like John Oliver who pose as humanitarians are the masters at dehumanizing other people through ridicule and never give the subjects of their smears a fair chance to respond.

I’m calling out John Oliver as a liar and a fraud who couldn’t go ten minutes with me in an unscripted, unedited debate. Without his teleprompter and his cheap-shot, out-of-context video clips he would be exposed as just another left-wing loony.

Oliver is lying through selective editing re Rwanda and several other points. His show was one continuous stream of malicious LGBT propaganda in the guise of comedy.

Yes, it will likely negatively affect the voters, as it was intended to do. It’s one more example of the ‘politics of personal destruction’ that Saul Alinsky taught the ‘progressives,’ including journalists, to practice.”

But, there are enough video and audio clips out there to back up all the claims against Lively. Here’s a sampling.

Religious Right Love for Uganda’s Criminalization of LGBTs Continues

matt barber

Liberty Counsel attorney Matt Barber (above) wants the Obama administration to stop bullying Uganda merely because “its leaders are taking the courageous stand of jailing gay people and making homosexuality a crime punishable up to life imprisonment.”

Last week in OneNewsNow, Barber expressed outrage that the Obama administration is treating gays as human beings.

Via Right Wing Watch:

Matt Barber, vice president of Liberty Counsel Action and founder of Barbwire.com, says to hear Biden one would think America’s chief export right now is immorality.

“… The fact [is] that the majority of the world recognizes that it’s offensive to compare sexual license to true human rights violations,” he tells OneNewsNow. “And the fact that that escapes Joe Biden and President Obama boggles the mind.”

Barber argues that those who promote LGBT rights are using “euphemistic language to dishonestly conflate human rights with disordered sexual license.”

“For Joe Biden to tell the world, a world that embraces sexual morality and traditional values, [that] I don’t care what your culture is [is essentially telling other nations] You must embrace the United States’ immoral view of sexual immorality and sexual sin or we’re going to penalize you with the powers of the purse string.” (emphasis in original)

Which Barber points out is exactly what the U.S. has done to Uganda. That country passed a law in February that strengthened criminal penalties for homosexual acts and made life sentences possible for those convicted of breaking the law. Last week, the U.S. imposed visa bans on Ugandan officials who the administration feels are violating homosexual rights there.

In more Barberisms, the homophobe just claimed on his radio show this week that “gay marriage is the brainchild of Satan.”
