A genius way to cut through all the AIDS Lifecycle fundraisers. Although I’m not riding this year (I wish I were), this video is fun. And, I do plan to attend the fundraiser. My friend EJ is in the second row (2nd from left)…
In the spring of 1984, my high school friends and I decided to go to Ft. Lauderdale, FL for Spring Break. We booked our reservations at the Jolly Roger Hotel. What did we know? We were 17 for goodness sakes. Well, I’m not going to try to re-tell a story that I told so well [...]
We made it home from AIDS Lifecycle yesterday – the 545 miles to Los Angeles took 7 days and the flight home on the same route took one hour and ten minutes. It was an amazing week. I will post photos and a recap of the ride later. It ranks as one of the most [...]

It was exactly the right thing to do after having not trained for two weeks. We started in Sausilito, headed through Mill Valley over the hill (a [...]
Rich, Rinnie and I embarked on our kick-off training ride yesterday – 23 miles RT from San Francisco to Mill Valley. A beautiful and gorgeous day met us, and despite the tourists “wobble riding” on the Golden Gate Bridge, we had no mishaps or brushes with death (rare for me on my road bike). After [...]
