Of course someone has outed an American Idol contestant – again. Adam Lambert is one of the stronger singers this season – I actually really like him. Viewers voted him into the top 12 last week and he has a good chance of surviving many rounds of eliminations.
Adam’s friends have leaked photos from Burning Man revealing that Adam, in fact, likes boys. Tweets and blogs are speculating that this revelation will cause AI producers to drop Lambert like a hot potato. Who the fuck cares if he’s gay???
Having attended ten Burning Man festivals myself, if I were the producers I’d be more concerned with the fact that Lambert is a Burner. Burning Man is nuts. I’ve done some pretty crazy and wild stuff there that should never see the light of day. (I’m thinking about going this year so watch out, Adam!) There is a gay sex camp at BM called “Jiffy Lube.” It lives up to it’s name. If you’ve never done it on a dusty mattress on the desert floor surrounded by musky canvas, Jiffy Lube is the place for you!
