Goodbye, Amen and Farewell

Well, I’m thinking that this post (#335) may be it for awhile.

I’m on to bigger and other things and I’m taking a break for days, months or maybe forever? I may come back with other ideas, another blog design, other podcasts. Maybe my next blog will be anonymous. I don’t know yet. I know I’m away from Blogger for at least the next four days or so and if I feel like returning I will. If I don’t, I won’t. I’ll figure it all out soon. I don’t show photos of hot boys everyday. When I do, I get many many readers. When I discuss things about politics or other personal subjects I don’t find much reader interest. I’m not a stats whore but sometimes I feel that I have to entertain and that’s not why I started this blog. I’ve met many good friends through blogging, and you know who you are. You can still email me at turning40@gmail.com if you’d like to stay in touch.

I hope you’ve enjoyed TURNING FORTY. I have. I have met some of the most incredible people through this experience. Don’t worry, I’ll probably be back. I have a lot on my mind right now and I’m taking a break.

I just don’t know…but as the helicopter rises above the pad -

Goodbye, amen and farewell.

I am SO going to miss you Dan, you are a breath of fresh air. One of the most positive and upbeat bloggers I’ve ever read. Don’t stay away too long.

Hot Lips! Just because your moving don’t think you can just stop blogging? Get your ass moved, then come back refreshed. Don’t make me come to San Fran after you! I think you might think that people don’t read when it has to do with politics or current affairs but I assure you they do. The cute boys are great to look at and just like that they are easy to comment about. Its hard to get your mind working enough each day to comment about important stuff. That said, The exception is today when with this important post. We don’t want you to leave.

    Danny Darling,

What will I read while I drink my nightly Extra Dirty Martini…

You are a doll and I wish you would continue.

Life is often filled with Chapters so as you open your new one think of little old MargOH! as you write it.

I will keep in touch and Berna will mix many a drink when you visit NY…

It makes me think of one of my favorite songs

    Make someone happy,
    Make just one someone happy;
Make just one heart the heart you sing to.
    One smile that cheers you,
One face that lights when it nears you,

    Fame if you win it,
Comes and goes in a minute.
Where’s the real stuff in life to cling to?
    Love is the answer,
Someone to love is the answer.
Once you’ve found him, build your world around him.

    Make someone happy,
    Make just one someone happy,
And you will be happy, too.

You made this old Lady Happy…

    Thank you Danny…

    Kisses,

    MargOH!

    Hey there baby boy

Sounds like you’ve got blog burn out. I can’t blame ya. There are a lot of changes going on in your life.

If you decide to stop blogging, I understand your decision and know we’ll still be friends :)

But do keep in mind one thing — it’s easy to feel disappointed when people don’t comment on a post that you felt was important. But try to remember why we all started blogging in the first place.

We blog because it feels good to speak our minds. If we’ve gotten something off our chest, our mission is done. If somebody wants to add their 2 cents, that’s fine.

An absence of comments doesn’t mean people don’t care. There are many times I read blogs and love them, but never comment. Sometimes I just like to hide behind the scenes. Sometimes I don’t have anything worthwhile to say. Sometimes I’m at work and simply forget to follow-up with a comment.

Anyway, do what feels right. But remember that your blog can be anything you want it to be.

Mine frequently jumps from sex talk, office humor, dirty jokes, personal emotions, family drama, real estate stories, and blog quizzes. I’m all over the boards and I refuse to stick with one concept. So remember you can talk about whatever you want because it’s all part of you :)

Relax and enjoy your move to SF! It’s a fresh new start in front of you! Love ya

Sorry to hear this news. Life is currently happening and sometimes life has no room for blogging. Until your next great web venture. ;o)

Honestly, give it a pause or aslowdown or whatever you feel comfortable with. It’s pretty tough to tell why people comment on one thing, then not on another.

Sometimes, an intimate post will get you a string of avid responses. Sometimes a picture of some hot dude with a nice package in his briefs will send the readers in a tizzy.

And sometimes the most deep or most sexy thing you put out there gets nothing.

Maybe it’s a crappy post, maybe it’s great but everyone’s getting ready for weekend festivities… who knows?

I still like reading here =)

Hey, it took a picture of toothbrushes having sex to shoot up my webhits to 2500 a day! Ok ok, it only lasted three days, but still… It was a fun ride.

I go away for two days and you stopped blogging – and started blogging again. Whew!

Serrioulsy, I’ve enjoyed your blog a lot and hope you keep it going. But if you don’t, I’ll understand. I’d miss you, but I’d understand.

Whatever you do, good luck with the move to San Fran!
