I never went on the "beach trips" in High School or College. I was never invited. So I did the next best thing, I went to Europe each break. Me, my brother, and 2 friends loaded in my car over Christmas break in 1986 and drove the 22 hrs to Ft. Lauderdale. We had a room and my car. I remember driving by The Jolly Roger" all weekend and slowing down to see if I could see what a gay guy looked like. I was engaged to be married and totally and absolutely confused to no end.
